FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything below is pulled straight from real conversations with prospective clients, grouped by where you are in the process.
General
Do we need to know anything about AI to get started?
No. Most clients start with little to no AI background — that's the point of the Assessment. We translate the technical side into plain business terms as we go.
Which AI tools and models do you use?
We're model-agnostic and tool-agnostic. We choose the best fit for your workflow — whether that's a specific LLM provider or a platform you already use — rather than pushing one stack across every client.
Do we have to keep working with Argenti after a phase ends?
No. Each phase — Assessment, Implementation, and Utility & Advisory — stands on its own. You're free to take the roadmap or the finished system and stop there.
Assessment
What is an AI readiness assessment?
A structured review of your business, data, and systems that ends with a prioritized roadmap of AI opportunities and honest cost/timeline estimates — not a generic strategy deck.
How long does an assessment take?
Most assessments run a few weeks from kickoff to findings presentation, depending on how many workflows and systems need to be reviewed.
Who from our team needs to be involved?
Typically one or two decision-makers plus whoever owns the day-to-day systems we're reviewing. We keep the time ask small and scheduled, not open-ended.
What if our data isn't ready for AI?
That's a normal finding, not a dead end. The assessment will tell you exactly what's missing and what it would take to close the gap.
Implementation
Do we need to replace our current tools?
Almost never. We build around your existing CRM, sales stack, and internal tools rather than asking you to rip and replace what already works.
How do you handle data security and privacy?
Every system is built secure by default — access controls, data handling, and vendor choices are scoped to your requirements from day one, not bolted on afterward.
What happens if an automation breaks or gives a wrong answer?
Systems are built to hand off to a human the moment they're unsure, and we stay on after launch to monitor, adjust, and fix issues as they come up.
How long does implementation take?
Timelines vary by scope, but most projects move from scoping to a live rollout within a few weeks to a couple of months.
Utility & Advisory
How is AI Utility different from hiring a consultant?
We already know your systems, because we likely built them. Advisory time goes directly into refining what's live, not ramping up on your business from scratch.
Can AI Utility lead into an implementation project?
Yes — a lot of new build work gets identified during ongoing advisory conversations, and it can roll straight into a scoped Implementation engagement.
What's the minimum commitment for a retainer?
Retainer engagements run a minimum of twelve months. Advisory Sessions are available on a pay-as-you-go basis if you're not ready for that commitment.
Cost & Timeline
What does an Assessment cost?
Assessments run on flat-fee packages with a clear quote after an initial conversation — no hourly billing surprises.
What does Implementation cost?
Implementation is quoted per project based on scope, after the roadmap from your Assessment (or an equivalent scoping conversation) is in hand.
What does AI Utility cost?
Advisory Sessions are billed per session; Monthly Retainers are a fixed monthly rate that includes a set number of advisory hours.
